Payment of pensions at Christmas

Historically, the pension payment due at the end of December has been paid before Christmas (as happens with the salaries). However, in 2011 this has been changed to the end of the month as with all the other months.

What do HPS members think about this change. Have they been inconvenienced? Personally, I don't manage my cash flow that tightly.

The early pension payment in December does not really affect me either, but I am sure there will be some who would welcome this early payment.  I do think pensioners should have been advised of the change before it took place.
