2014 AGM Notice

HALCROW PENSIONERS ASSOCIATION 

 Notice of 2014 Annual General Meeting


To be held in the HPA forum during the week commencing Monday 28th April 2014


1.    The Halcrow Pensioners Association Committee (HPA Committee) hereby gives notice that the 2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will commence 28 days after the date of issue of this notice, and extend over a period of one week, the commencement date being Monday 28th April. The proposed venue for the meeting shall be a sub-forum of the HPA forum which is only accessible to eligible members. The Annual Election of Honorary Officers and Committee members will be held by an online vote during the course of the AGM.

2.    The existing Committee Officers and members are:

Robert Every Committee member (co-opted legal issues)

Chris Fleming Committee member

In accordance with the constitution, the Committee shall comprise the officers and not fewer than four and not more than eight other members.


3.    The Committees invites nominations for election to the Committee.  Nominations for office bearers and committee members must be sent electronically to the Secretary before 5pm on Sunday 13th April 2013 and include confirmation from the nominee that they are willing to stand.

4.   Questions to the office bearers and subjects for discussion at the AGM shall either be submitted to the secretary in advance of the meeting or posted in the 2014 AGM sub-forum at the appropriate stage of the AGM (note that the link will only work for paid-up members).

4.   Eligibility for attendance at the AGM and election to the committee is open to anyone who has paid their HPA membership subscription. Copies of reports and a list of nominations will be sent by email to all eligible members 5 days before the commencement of the meeting. Members who have paid their subscription should register for the forum (if not already registered) at least 2 days in advance of the meeting so that they can be given access to the AGM sub-forum.
